This beautiful display by Coast Homes was built on small block in Mt Claremont. Their challenge was to create a home that felt spacious and open, with an inside/outside flow.
We came to the challenge, by adding a floating bbq and bench to the boundary wall with cascading planters and a stepping stone pond. The lush plantings will provide a sense of privacy but also an extremely lovely outlook from the internal spaces.
This home is open on weekends and by appointment. Visit their website for more details at www.coasthomeswa.com.au
This beautiful new home in Nedlands was designed by Daniel Cassetai Designs and built by Link Constructions. Moda Interiors was in charge of the interiors and external finishes and colours, and we came on board to take care of the Landscape Design and Construction. We worked very closely with the client on this one, as he wanted to be involved in the whole process (including the choosing and purchasing of all the plants ;).
This beautiful home in Mosman Park, overlooking the Swan River has been a labour of love for everyone involved. But the finished home is outstanding. Another collaboration with Moda Interiors and builder Peter Stewart Homes.
This Display home for Coast Homes was originally designed by Blake Willis Landscape Architecture, but when the client wanted to simplify the design and get it built within budget, Blake recommended us. So with a blend of Blakes layout, a few changes and our planting layout we are left with an outstanding landscape that is getting many incredible reviews from the many visitors to the display home.

After renting their home out for several years while living in America, it was time for a complete landscape upgrade when this family returned to Perth. The garden was now overgrown and untidy, and with the children now in their teens, it was time for an upgrade. Limited space meant we opted for a small plunge pool between the kitchen and the alfesco. This was the best location to reduce the need for pool fencing, but still allow free access to the rest of the garden. We also extended the alfresco area, by oversizing the new decking, allowing space for both lounges and a dining table, which in turn as made it into a fantastic entertaining space.
Upgrade of sell? This family decided they loved their family home of 25 years and it was time to put in the pool they've always wanted. At the same time updating the old pergola with a new glosswood ceiling and adding some Ultrashield composite decking, has made this a beautiful modern renovation to this house that will see them enjoying it for another 25 years.
With a passion for entertaining and the current space insufficient for their needs, these clients wanted to create an area that would mean they could literally live outdoors. Matching in with the existing house extension we created this outdoor space to incorporate a new spa into the current pool area, and used the new alfresco to extend across to give the spa an indoor/outdoor feel and provide a hidden workshop behind where dad could still keep his tools and potter. The new alfresco contains a custom designed bbq and and Pizza oven, all with new decking that extends to the existing outdoor area of the home.
This new home on an awkward triangular shaped corner block, meant that the landscape design was a crucial element right from the start. We were able to create 4 seperate outdoor areas for this busy family, including a private retreat courtyard for the parents.
This owner of this new 4 storey home, on a very narrow block, wanted wow factor and the feeling of a journey, on the way to the front door of their new home. With floating concrete steppers over a simple shallow pond, and pockets of planting to make the area feel bigger than it really was, we have hit the design brief on the head.
This new family home on a large block, with the pool already in place required some clever design to finish it off.
